ANTHONY FOSTER
Clinical Social Worker Associate (he/him)
Queer-Affirming Therapist
Grounded in Story, Power & Possibility
“You’re not broken—you’re responding to a system that wasn’t built for you.”
Hi, I’m Anthony.
I work with people who are untangling their own beliefs, desires, and values from the ones they were taught—people seeking to live more freely, more fully, and more in alignment with what actually feels true.
I’m a queer-affirming therapist working with LGBTQIA+ clients—including pansexual, bisexual, and gay people; trans and nonbinary folks; and people in polyamorous, kinky, and nontraditional relationships.
I specialize in helping people who are carrying deep stories—about who they had to be, how they’ve survived, and what was never theirs to hold in the first place.
Whether you’re moving through self-exploration, changes in life circumstances, burnout, grief, or the long shadows of systemic trauma—I’ll meet you with honesty, warmth, and curiosity.
I believe healing is deeply relational, contextual, and political—not just internal.
We’ll work together to untangle what isn’t yours, strengthen your voice, and build something new.

Who I Work With
I work with LGBTQIA+ people who are exploring who they are, what they want, and how to live more fully on their own terms. This includes:
Pansexual, bisexual, gay, and queer people navigating identity, attraction, and belonging
Young adults figuring out what fits—and what doesn’t
People moving through gender identity shifts, transitions, or questions about self
Folks unpacking internalized shame, code-switching, or the weight of stigma
Those healing after religious, institutional, or family rejection
Polyamorous, kinky, and other people creating relationships rooted in consent, autonomy, and chosen connection
Survivors of poverty, structural harm, or spiritual oppression
Anyone who’s ever felt like the “weird one,” the “fixer,” or the “too much”
What it’s like to work together
My work is grounded in your story—your strengths, your passions, and the ways you’ve made it through.
I don’t see myself as someone with all the answers, but as someone who shows up with you—curious, engaged, and fully present.
We’ll explore not just what’s happening inside you, but also what’s happening around you: the systems, relationships, and environments that have shaped your beliefs, your coping, and your sense of possibility.
I help people recognize where power lives in those systems—and then find the angles where change, choice, and a way forward become possible.
This work is relational.
It’s about slowing down, noticing together, and validating the full complexity of what you’re holding—without judgment, without rushing.
You don’t have to untangle it alone.
If you’ve been told you’re too much—or not enough—
If you’re carrying roles that never felt like you—
If you’re seeking a queer-affirming space to explore, unravel, reimagine, and heal—
I’d be honored to walk with you.
I’m looking forward to working with you. To get started with me, click here and schedule a free consultation with the Client Care Coordinator.
