Our Focus and Commitment
At Rebel Heart Therapy, our mission is deeply rooted in the LGBTQIA+, poly, kinky, and quirky communities. We are committed to providing LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy, and this work is not just our livelihood; it is our passion and an essential part of our advocacy for the communities we love and want to see thrive.
We understand that our communities face many challenges and that there are significant gaps in mental health support. While we care deeply about these issues, we do not—and cannot—specialize in every one of them. Our focus on specific treatment areas is not a reflection of indifference, but a commitment to providing the best possible care within our training and scope of practice.
We care deeply—but we also know our limits. Our work is most effective when we stay within our areas of expertise, offering high-quality care where we’re trained to make a difference.
We respectfully ask for an understanding of our boundaries and recognition of the value of our work. Our dedication to this community is unwavering, and we are proud to be part of the broader effort to ensure everyone has access to the affirmative mental health care they deserve.
