Collective Grief Group

A developing LGBTQ+ grief support group for queer and trans adults, through our Portland practice.

Grief can come from personal losses and from what we experience together as a community. For queer and trans people, those losses can be difficult to explain to people who haven’t shared them. You don’t have to carry them alone.

This group offers queer and trans adults a space to process grief in community, including the losses and challenges that affect us collectively. Whether your grief feels personal, communal, recent, or longstanding, there is room for it here.

Newly Disabled Queer & Trans Process Group

A developing queer disability support group for adults navigating a new disability or a significant change in functioning.

Becoming disabled, or experiencing a significant change in disability or functioning, can shift how you relate to your body, your relationships, and the future you imagined. For queer and trans people, these changes can also intersect with identity, community, access, and experiences with healthcare.

This process group offers a space to explore those changes with other queer and trans adults. Together, we’ll make room for grief, anger, relief, uncertainty, hope, joy—and whatever else you’re carrying. You don’t need to have it figured out to find connection.

Rolling With It

A prospective roller derby injury support group focused on mental health after serious injuries on the track.

Serious injuries can affect more than your body. Rolling With It offers adult roller derby skaters and medics of all genders a therapist-led space to process the impact of experiencing or witnessing an injury on the track.

Make room for fear, grief, anger, and changes in confidence with people who understand derby. Whether you’re returning to the sport, taking time away, or figuring out what comes next, you don’t have to sort through it alone.
