Irene is Rebel Heart Therapy’s Clinical Director, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. She offers LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy in Portland for adults, young adults, families, and elders navigating identity, coming out, gender and sexuality, substance use, relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-worth.

As our Clinical Director, Irene also helps hold the clinical heart of Rebel Heart: supporting thoughtful, affirming, and ethical care across the practice. In her therapy work, she brings a compassionate, grounded, and deeply affirming style. Sessions with Irene can be a place to feel less alone, build resilience, reconnect with your sense of self, and move toward a life that feels more honest, steady, and yours.
