Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor/LPC Associate 

Job Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt

Location: Portland, OR - In Person

Target Start Date: June 1, 2026

Licensed Professional Compensation: $63.00 per clinical hour.

Associate Compensation: $54.00 per clinical hour.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays. Benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Benefits eligibility is tied to maintaining full-time caseload requirements.

Perks: In-house supervision (if necessary) provided at no cost; Rebel Heart Therapy provides full administrative support, including scheduling, billing, insurance processing, and marketing. Our clinicians focus on clinical work, not backend logistics.

Job Summary

Rebel Heart Therapy is seeking a full-time, in-person LPC or Professional Counselor Associate in the final 1,000 supervised hours toward licensure to join our team.

This clinician will step directly into an established referral stream and should be prepared to build and maintain a strong caseload within a structured, supportive environment.

This position is ideal for a clinician who is ready to step into an active referral flow, contribute meaningfully to a collaborative team, and practice within a clear, professional structure.

Position Requirements

  • Oregon LPC license or Professional Counselor Associate in the final 1,000 supervised hours toward independent licensure.

  • Professional Counselor Associates must provide documentation from their current approved supervisor verifying total supervised hours completed and remaining hours toward independent licensure

  • Full-time, in-person role

  • Required average of 25 client sessions per week

  • Availability to see clients until close at least two days per week (M–Th 8 pm; 6 pm Fridays)

  • Consistent in-office presence

  • Documentation completed within two business days of each session

  • Demonstrated experience working with queer and trans clients

Strongly valued:

  • Experience working with ENM, kink, and nontraditional relationship structures

  • Prior experience maintaining a 25+ client caseload

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

The work is performed in an office setting. This is largely a sedentary position that requires the employee to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and may occasionally require moving files and other equipment.
