Fees and Insurance
$50.00 per session
Insurance: we cannot bill insurance or provide a superbill for sessions with interns. You can use your FSA/HSA card to pay for sessions.
Taylor is a non-binary and queer counselor-in-training with a major in Psychology and minor in Mathematics. Originally pursuing a career in teaching meth-ed and ceramic arts, Taylor transitioned into psychology to connect and support adolescent and young adult mental health. Currently, Taylor is studying Mental Health Counseling at Lewis & Clark Graduate School. From September to April, Taylor received specialized training working with clients at the Transcendence Project, where they served trans, non-binary, and gender diverse clients.
As a clinician, Taylor is interested in experiential and relational perspectives, and is drawn to modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques. In other words, they value collaborative relationships with clients through mutual authenticity, openness, and growth. They are committed to incorporate their understanding of how intersectionality fits within systems of oppression and privilege. They aspire to provide a creative, compassionate, and affirming space to explore how client's arrive into their present moment and heal towards a life of meaning and value.
